This meeting is held to continue the vital mission of this committee, which revolves around facilitating the creation, understanding, adoption, and maintenance of design standards for sediment controls employed on construction sites.
    Our multifaceted approach includes three fundamental pillars:

    • First, we strive to create robust design standards, drawing upon existing design guidance, models, and engineering principles. By consolidating the best practices and insights, we pave the way for excellence in sediment control.

    • Secondly, we are committed to promoting the widespread adoption and seamless implementation of these sediment control design standards. Through outreach and advocacy, we aim to raise awareness and encourage adherence across the industry.

    • Finally, we offer our support to the IECA Professional Development Committee in crafting top-notch training courses. With the committee expertise and dedication, we are poised to profoundly impact the field of sediment controls and construction site management. Together, we will elevate industry practices and foster a sustainable future for erosion control.
