Billur Kazaz, PhD, PE, CPESC (she/her/hers)

Dr. Kazaz is a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in construction stormwater management. She works with multi-disciplinary design teams for both construction and post-construction stormwater management, designs erosion and sediment control (E&SC) plans and assists with NPDES permitting and compliance efforts for industrial and construction clients. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree and she recently earned her Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 2022. Following her Ph.D., she joined the Water and Natural Resources group in Geosyntec’s Kennesaw, GA office, where she works on providing effective and sustainable solutions to public and private sector clients
