Luke Stevens, NGICP

Luke Stevens serves as the environmental manager of Beckley Sanitary Board, where he oversees the municipal stormwater program for the city of Beckley WV. His path to Beckley began with an internship through the local watershed association during college. Luke holds a BS in environmental geoscience from Concord University (2014) and an MS in Geology from East Carolina University (2017). Luke’s work is focused on enhancing water quality and creating sustainable opportunities in the Beckley urban watershed. He is passionate about partnership with community members, families, and young people in the exciting work of understanding and protecting local lands and waters. Luke's commitment to the health of the watershed stems from a long-held love for the beauty of community and the wonder of the natural world.
Luke lives in Beckley, WV, with his courageously beautiful wife, Lauren and their four exquisitely energetic kiddos.
