Bowie Industries has been manufacturing Bowie pumps for over 70 years and Bowie Hydro-Mulchers for over 60 years. The Bowie Hydro-Mulcher was designed specifically to shred, mix and spray heavy slurries of wood fiber mulch from the very beginning. These core features are still incorporated into all Bowie machines. Those design features are combined with the "Built Strong, Built to Last" mentality of the harsh environment of the north Texas oil patch. Bowie pumps are used wherever there are difficult to pump liquids.
